Van Moer organizes every year a sport event (Tour de Van Moer) and provides the opportunity to all employees to lease a bike. Also every time an employee comes by bike, they sponsor € 1 to Bike for Life challenge in October. Moreover, Van Moer wants to reduce the CO2 by investing in Dual Fuel trucks where they convert normal trucks into dual fuel vehicles. This means this truck drives on normal fuel and hydrogen. In this way, they are reducing their fuel usage and associated emissions by up to 80%.

As of January 1, 2024, Mr Rene Raaberg, who was formerly the Managing Director, has taken over as the President of Emons Air & Sea, LCC. The succession strategy for their former President Lori Fleissner was carefully devised ahead of time.

The intricate ocean freight operation involved utilizing a 50 ft MAFI container complemented by a meticulously planned journey on a low bed truck to reach the final destination in the south of Morocco.

The massive cargo, with dimensions of 12.82 x 3.60 x 3.80 meters, presented unique challenges that required careful handling and strategic coordination. Locofreight’s team took charge of the lashing and securing process, prioritizing the safety of the cargo. Additionally, they implemented protective measures such as plastic covering to safeguard the material throughout the journey.

The cargo was transported via both ocean and road freight, from Panama to Turkey

Panama Soluciones Logisticas, Conqueror member in Panama City, Panama, effectively completed the international shipment of a deckhouse, which had a weight of 13,550 kilograms. They moved the cargo by a combination of ocean and ground freight from Panama to Turkey.

They made use of 1×40 flatrack and open top dry containers to move this cargo of massive size. The shipment had dimensions of 5m x 86m x 16m. “Managing the transportation of cargo of this size was undeniably a challenging task that demanded extensive preparations. This shipment held significant importance for us, and our team put in immense effort to ensure its seamless delivery,” remarked Luis Carlos Bustamente, Manager of Panama Soluciones Logisticas.

In addition, Conqueror Panama City also provided loading and unloading services, as well as stowage and lashing, to ensure the secure and smooth transportation of the cargo.

Atlas Shipping Services, Conqueror member in Pune, India, recently secured a contract for the air export of a power transmission project. The project involved transporting equipment for the construction of a 33 KV power transmission line and distribution network project in Congo. Additionally, this project was commissioned by the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

To quote Mr. Sushil Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of Conqueror Pune, “This remarkable achievement marked Atlas Shipping Services Pvt Ltd’s inaugural air charter for a project cargo. The team executed this complex operation with great success, showcasing our expertise in handling such specialized logistics challenges.”

The shipment originated from India and was destined for Kinshasa, Congo. The total weight of the shipment amounted to 90,700 kilograms, and it was efficiently loaded onto a B747F aircraft and dispatched as a single consignment.

They have also created a new office with a staff of six experienced professionals to better serve a wider range of customers and agents

U.S. Traffic, Conqueror member in Toronto, Canada, has changed their name to World-Wind Logistics. The decision to change the name arises from the division of their freight forwarding enterprise which has become increasingly centered on air and ocean freight services, setting them apart from their road freight services.

“We have acquired the book of business, office space and vendor relationships from a Freight Forwarder as well as the rights to use their name ‘World-Wind Logistics’ as our new name,” says Mr Shashwat Marla the Manager of Air & Ocean Department of Conqueror Toronto. “It will also be identified as being Part of the U.S. Traffic group of companies. We are also pleased to welcome the current staff of this operation into our family,” he adds.

Strategic collaboration between Conqueror Varna and Istanbul leads to the international transportation of 40 containers of fabric

The shipment of fabric was shipped from China to Turkey via Bulgaria

Trident Freight Ltd, Conqueror member in Varna, Bulgaria, handled the overseas movement of 40 containers of cargo loaded with fabrics from China. The cargo first came in Bulgaria, but at a later stage, the client decided to ship them to Turkey. To this end, they counted on the assistance of Herfurth Logistics, Conqueror member in Istanbul, Turkey.
