Conqueror’s 10th Annual Meeting will also include a day trip with the members and their spouses to the World Heritage Sites of the Taman Ayun and the Tanah Lot temples. One of the primary objectives of the day trip is to provide attendees with an opportunity to connect with fellow network members in a relaxed and informal setting that can lead to stronger professional relationships and potential collaborations in the future.
Duration: 7 hours and a half
Time: 8:30 to 16:00
Tour Fare: 42 EUR
Inclusive: Tour to Taman Ayun and Tanah Lot Temple with a professional English-speaking guide, entrance fee and lunch at Jukung Restaurant
Taman Ayun Temple holds a position of immense spiritual and historical significance, being one of the six royal temples in Bali. The name "Taman Ayun" translates to the 'Garden Temple in the Water,' a fitting description for a temple complex that showcases magnificent traditional architectural elements within its courtyards and enclosures. Furthermore, the temple grounds feature expansive gardens adorned with picturesque lotus and fish ponds. This site provides a splendid opportunity to appreciate the early and traditional Balinese architectural styles that have endured on the island.
Afterwards, we will explore the renowned Tanah Lot Temple, a prominent and iconic landmark in Bali celebrated for its distinctive offshore location and stunning sunset vistas. This ancient Hindu shrine is gracefully situated atop a rocky outcrop, surrounded by the relentless rhythm of crashing waves. Tanah Lot Temple, dating back to the 16th century, was constructed to pay homage to Bhatara Segara, the deity of the sea. According to legend, to safeguard this sacred site, the deity conjured a formidable serpent from his sash, showcasing his divine might.
