Make the most of the connections within Conqueror, engage with fellow members, and continue sharing your successes
Dear members,
Season’s Greeting and a very Happy New Year to you all!

As we step into a new year, I want to take a moment to thank every Conqueror member for making the past year such a strong and memorable one for our network.
2025 was a year of real momentum. We saw our members closing new lanes, strengthening long-term partnerships, and navigating a market that continues to demand adaptability and sharp local insight. Our Annual Meeting at Abu Dhabi was a clear highlight. The energy in the room, the quality of conversations, and the number of concrete collaborations that followed reminded us why face-to-face networking still matters in this industry. Deals were discussed, trust was built, and many of you left with partnerships that are already paying off.
This December newsletter brings together exactly that spirit. You’ll find links to member news and blogs that showcase what independent and regional forwarders are achieving on the ground, as well as curated sector news to keep you informed about the latest developments shaping global logistics.
One thing has become increasingly clear over the past year- regional freight forwarders are not just surviving, they are leading. Shippers are looking for flexibility, local expertise, and partners who understand their markets deeply. This is where Conqueror stands apart. Our role is to empower strong regional forwarders to operate globally without losing what makes them valuable. Through a trusted network, structured meetings, and practical tools, we help you compete on reach while winning on service.
Looking ahead, we are already fully focused on our next Annual Meeting in May 2026 in Bangkok. Preparations are well underway, and we are committed to making it another high-impact event where real business happens. Bangkok will be the setting for new conversations, fresh opportunities, and stronger collaboration across regions.
As we begin this new year, I encourage you to make the most of the connections within Conqueror, engage with fellow members, and continue sharing your successes. Together, we are building something that goes beyond a logo or a directory. We are building a network that works.
I wish you and your teams a successful, healthy, and prosperous year ahead.
Kind regards,
Antonio Torres
President and Founder - Conqueror Freight Network
The Conqueror Annual Meeting has a clear purpose: to help members with productive networking. From 7–9 May in Bangkok, Conqueror members will come together for three tightly structured days focused on one goal: helping independent freight forwarders build partnerships that translate into real business. No wandering exhibition halls. No sales pitches to strangers. Just focused, one-to-one conversations with decision-makers who are there for the same reason you are.
The backbone of the event are Conqueror’s pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings. Before arriving in Bangkok, members select the companies they want to meet, based on trade lanes, services, and strategic priorities. Every meeting is confirmed in advance, so when you sit down at the table, you already know who you’re speaking with and why.
Each meeting slot is long enough to move beyond introductions. Members discuss volumes, pricing expectations, payment terms, and long-term cooperation. By the end of the three days, most attendees will have completed dozens of targeted meetings, covering multiple regions and trade lanes without wasting a single hour.
Conqueror provides all attendees with a dedicated web app designed specifically for the Annual Meeting. The app gives members instant access to their meeting schedules, real-time updates, and key event information, helping them stay organized and focused throughout the conference.
The Conqueror Annual Meeting is carefully structured to support both productive discussions and meaningful relationship-building. Alongside the meetings, the agenda creates multiple opportunities for genuine connection. Informal interactions during coffee breaks allow conversations to continue naturally, often helping members clarify ideas, revisit key points, or identify new opportunities that may not surface in a scheduled slot.
The social programme plays an equally important role in strengthening partnerships. A welcome cocktail reception sets the tone for the days ahead, helping members reconnect with familiar partners and start conversations with new ones in a relaxed setting. The gala dinner brings the network together in a more celebratory atmosphere, reinforcing relationships that have been built across the meetings.
The day trip, scheduled on the first day of the event, adds another dimension to the experience. Stepping away from the meeting tables allows members to connect on a more personal level, strengthening trust and familiarity. These shared experiences often turn professional contacts into long-term partners, making future collaboration smoother and more effective.

Members don’t leave the Conqueror Annual Meeting with a stack of business cards and good intentions. They leave with clear next steps.
Typical outcomes include new agreements, expanded trade lanes with existing partners, project cargo collaborations, and stronger payment-secure relationships. Many members use the meeting to renegotiate terms, align expectations, and resolve operational issues that would take months to handle over email.
Just as important, members leave with clarity. You know which partners fit your business, which lanes are viable, and where future opportunities lie. That clarity is often the biggest return on investment.
The Bangkok Annual Meeting isn’t just a calendar event. For many members, it sets the direction for the rest of the year. It helps forwarders refocus, reconnect with trusted partners, and position themselves more confidently in a competitive market.
Three days. Hundreds of meetings. And partnerships that last well beyond May. That’s what members can expect in Bangkok.

Accelleron’s latest report highlights the region’s pioneering role in building green hydrogen infrastructure vital for net-zero shipping

Accelleron, a global leader in turbocharging and digital solutions for marine and energy sectors, has unveiled the second report in its Accelerating to Net Zero series, focusing on the Asia Pacific market’s pivotal role in developing e-fuel networks essential for maritime decarbonization.
“The ships are ready. The net-zero technology is ready. The fuels are still missing,” said Daniel Bischofberger, CEO of Accelleron. He emphasized that while global net-zero regulations face delays, Asia Pacific is setting a precedent by advancing green hydrogen and e-fuel infrastructure that could serve as a model for other regions.
Asia Pacific’s unique combination of economic scale, political will, and abundant renewable energy resources positions it as an advanced proving ground for e-fuel production and distribution. Countries in the region are pioneering innovative solutions such as “book and claim” systems to bypass early infrastructure gaps, alongside modular, small-scale production units that accelerate supply development incrementally. Government incentives further reduce costs, stimulating growth across the e-fuel value chain.
Despite these advances, the report points out a crucial bottleneck: maritime demand for e-fuels remains insufficient to trigger large-scale production needed for full sector decarbonization. Accelleron identifies key actions for overcoming this hurdle, including fostering national and regional collaboration on hydrogen strategies, leveraging existing trade corridors like Australia-Singapore-China, and emphasizing smaller, scalable production models.
Allan-Qingzhou Wang, Chairman of Accelleron China, summed up the findings: “This report reveals how Asia Pacific’s diverse approaches to e-fuel development are not only laying the groundwork for a sustainable shipping future but also demonstrating practical pathways for global adoption.”
