Conqueror Ulaanbaatar successfully delivers 16 new locomotives for Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait Railway Project in Mongolia

The delivery of 16 Progress Rail SD70ACe/LW-4101 locomotives, from the USA to Mongolia, marks a major milestone in boosting the country’s railway infrastructure

TUUSHIN LLC, Conqueror member in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, has played a major role in Mongolia’s ambitious Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait Railway Project by arranging the successful delivery of 16 brand-new SD70ACe/LW-4101 locomotives.

The shipment began in the United States, where the locomotives manufactured by Progress Rail were loaded for their transcontinental journey. After crossing the Atlantic Ocean, the cargo arrived at Tianjin Port in China, and from there it was transported overland to Mongolia. In total, the delivery covered a distance of 14,220 km before reaching its final destination.

The Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait Railway Project is one of Mongolia’s most important infrastructure initiatives, designed to strengthen the country’s coal export capacity and enhance cross-border trade efficiency.

Mr. Bayarsaikhan Lunden, VD and Head of Sales Department at TUUSHIN LLC, stated about this achievement, “Coordinating the delivery of these 16 powerful locomotives was both a challenge and an honor.
